Thank you so much for caring . . .

Now that The Gift of the Seer is available worldwide, I must take this opportunity to thank all the people who wrote encouraging emails to me over the last five years.  It’s taken me so long to get to this point, and I simply cannot tell you all how much I appreciate your patience.  I know it was torturous for you, waiting so long to find out what happened to Katie, and I assure you it was torturous for me, trying to get the end of her story into your hands.  But now, at last, the long wait is over for both of us.

Of course, I still worry that some of you may be disappointed in the ending, inasmuch as you have had a LOT of time to imagine how her life might’ve gone, and, for all I know, the stories you came up with were way better than the story I’ve recorded in The Gift of the Seer!  But the fact that truly haunts me is that I know there were many people who loved The Spirit Keeper and who wrote me, begging for the conclusion, who are no longer with us.  I personally know of at least four people who died while waiting for the sequel, and I will never not feel bad about that.  There are also many people who contacted me, asking me to let them know when the conclusion was available, whose email addresses are no longer valid.  So I have no way of letting those people know about TGS.  All I can do is hope they might stumble upon it somehow, somewhere.

As for you–if you are reading this blog post, then you have surely discovered the existence of TGS, and I hope you have not been disappointed.  I hope you find things in its pages to think about and puzzle over, and I hope it entertains and distracts you from the hardships of your day.  I also hope it inspires you to share your own stories with people who matter to you.

But, more than anything, I hope you know how grateful I am for your support, because your interest and appreciation have dramatically changed the course of my own life.  What a journey we have shared, my friends!  Let us take a moment now to enjoy how lucky we were to have traveled, for a time, together . . .

The Gift of the Seer proved to be as mesmerizing as The Spirit Keeper. The characters of Katie O’Toole, her husband Hector, and others from her new “family”, created a story filled with a range of emotions and a feeling of not wanting to put the book down. Thank you for your wonderful gift of your storytelling!
